Social Studies: Choose a landform of New York State and explain the geography of that particular landform. Describe the landform of the area and explain why it you would live there. Write 1 to 2 paragraphs on loose leaf. Use pages 12 and 13 to help you write your paragraphs.
Homework for Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017:
ELA/Reading: Complete worksheet on inferences. Test Friday on the selection, “Into the Grand Canyon”. Study vocabulary, inferences from the story, main events and details.
Spelling: Test on word list 1. Study
Writing: What is your favorite hobby? Why do you enjoy your favorite hobby? Add 3 reasons why you enjoy your favorite pastime. Use descriptive words to describe what you write. Write a topic sentence and end with a concluding sentence. Write your response on loose leaf. This should be 2 paragraphs.
Science: Complete worksheet
Parents, some of you have still not bought the chapter books assigned to buy over the summer. Please make sure the purchases of these books are done over the weekend. The children will start reading Stone Fox on Monday.
